Mainline Economics EPRI

Inscripción cerrada

In this course, Bobbi Herzberg of the Mercatus Center at George Mason University discusses “mainline economics.” This approach to the study of economics is characterized by a focus on the modern origins of this field in the ideas of Adam Smith, who emphasized the broader contexts of life, such as the political arena, individual interactions, and institutions. Smith, along with important figures like F. A. Hayek, J. Buchanan, and E. Ostrom will help us to analyze how and why individuals make economic decisions.
